Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in the final minutes, leading his team Juventus to overturn a goal against Udinese to a fatal 2-1 victory on Sunday in the 34th stage of the Italian Football League.
After losing the title of the competition – which it had monopolized during the last nine seasons after Inter’s crowning the title today, 4 stages before the end of the season – Juventus’ main goal now is to be in the first four places to qualify for the Champions League competition next season.
Udinese scored via Argentine Nahuel Molina in the tenth minute, before Ronaldo rose up in the final minutes, scoring two goals for Juventus in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot and the 90th minute, to lead the team to regain the winning tone that was absent from him in the last stage by drawing 1-1 with Fiorentina.
Ronaldo raised his score to 27 goals as the Italian League’s top scorer.
The balance of Juventus – who achieved its second victory in its last four matches in the championship – rose to 69 points, to advance from fifth to third place, while Udinese’s balance stopped at 39 points in 11th place
