Taliban warns
The Afghan Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, warned that delaying the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan is considered in the movement’s view a breach of the Doha Agreement.

He added that although some parties in Washington have reservations about this process, and some lawmakers from both parties have criticized this move for fear of Afghanistan falling into the solution of the civil war; Biden was decisive and decided to start the withdrawal process.
On April 14, President Joe Biden announced that he would completely withdraw his country’s forces from Afghanistan. This would end the longest war in the United States, provided that the withdrawal of troops is completed by the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Doha negotiations
In conjunction with the start of the withdrawal, the intra-Afghan negotiations will resume today in Doha aimed at reaching a settlement of the situation in Afghanistan.
The United States, China, Russia and Pakistan had said that the Doha meeting on Afghanistan discussed ways to support the Afghan-Afghan negotiations, and reach a negotiated settlement and a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire.
