Activists broadcast pictures and videos of the suffocation of some worshipers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the firing of tear gas canisters at them by the occupation forces, after they stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning and attacked the retreat in violent confrontations that left a large number of injuries, according to what was announced by the Palestinian Red Crescent.
Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Temple Mount this morning from several gates and clashed with Palestinian sit-downs.
Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that dozens of Palestinian protesters were wounded, including head injuries due to the firing of rubber bullets by the Israeli occupation forces.
The director of Al-Aqsa Mosque added to Al-Jazeera that the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the Dome of the Rock mosque, where violent confrontations were taking place between the occupation forces and those stationed in the Dome.
The Ministry of Islamic Endowments also indicated that the occupation forces and Israeli snipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque were firing heavy metal bullets at the retreat.
The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that the occupation forces were preventing its crews from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque to provide first aid.
