    Qatar .. Attorney General orders the arrest of the Minister of Finance

    The Qatar News Agency reported that the Qatari Attorney General had ordered the arrest of Finance Minister Ali Sharif Al-Emadi, for “crimes related to the public service.”

    The agency quoted a statement from the Attorney General’s office that the order to arrest the Minister of Finance came after reviewing documents and reports on crimes related to the public office, harm to public money, abuse of office, and abuse of power.

    The statement added, “The Attorney General has ordered the opening of extensive investigations into the crimes raised with the submitted papers
