Activists broadcast dozens of videos on social media that show the Israeli occupation police assault on Palestinians in the vicinity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the last Friday of Ramadan.
The director of the Al-Jazeera office in Ramallah, Walid Al-Omari, stated that large forces of the occupation police stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday evening, fired sound and tear gas canisters at the worshipers, and arrested a number of them, and the Palestinian Red Crescent stated that 53 people were injured as a result of the attack by the Israeli forces.
The confrontations between the occupation forces and the worshipers began at Bab al-Silsila, one of the gates of the Temple Mount, and the matter moved to the courtyards of the mosque after the occupation forces stormed them, while large crowds of worshipers tried to remove those forces from the place.
And the occupation forces pushed large reinforcements to the Haram area and to the old city of occupied Jerusalem.
The video clips show that the occupation forces targeted the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque with sound bombs and rubber bullets, in a dangerous escalation of events there.

Palestinian websites also documented the chants of youths inside Al-Aqsa Mosque during the confrontations with the occupation forces
The videos documented by journalists and activists show the brutal aggression of the occupation forces on Palestinian youths, while other videos documented preventing the occupation of Jerusalemites from entering the Old City and checking their identities.
