Director Jaber pointed out that the series was filmed in 4 countries besides Qatar, namely Kuwait, Syria, Egypt and Turkey, and it needed more moves and effort than usual, and explained that “the implementation of the work was not easy, especially with the conditions in which the world lives due to the Corona pandemic and travel restrictions and quarantine, but With the grace of God and with his grace, the team was able to complete the work with a high technical and productive level, according to the planned schedule. “
The implementation of the series took 3 months, as the preparation work began in January 2021, and the stars and the work team were selected according to the texts and the technical and directorial vision.
The origin of the tale
Seven “wood horses” are characterized by interwoven and interwoven dramatic strings, the text of which is based on the idea of ”flashback”, meaning retrieval or recollection, which enriches the dramatic scene and calls for the intelligence of the recipient who becomes a partner in the work, and “this creates suspense because works that are devoid of The dramatic conflict is not interesting, and the audience does not like being prolonged, “according to director Gabr.
Writer Tayseer Abdullah says to Al-Jazeera Net, “I personally and my colleague and friend Mishwari, the writer and novelist Abdul Rahim Al-Siddiqi, wrote the Qatari work that we called (Wood Horses), and it is a serious social drama that contains details of Qatari and Gulf family relations with some glimpses of imagination and spices. Drama, and inlaid with some romantic songs that support the dramatic scene with the voices of Ghanem Shaheen and Rola Qadri.
The novel tells about a betrayal that (Hayat, who plays the role of the artist Yamor) from her new husband, Salih, after she contradicted her father’s opinion by marrying him, only to discover, by a strange coincidence, that he planned to travel to Turkey with her in order to delude her that she had brain cancer, and in agreement with a fake clinic and a fake doctor. . She discovers the falsehood of this after a violent collision occurs to her, to clear her vision, and the stage of revenge begins, and here comes the suspense and anticipation at work.
The writer Abdullah adds, “A new writing experience we go through after writing many theatrical works for adults and children, as well as our contribution to writing separate episodes for major Arab drama stars. What helped us to do that is that the work consists of only 7 episodes, and this motivated us to write far from the stretching that is famous for it.” Arab and Gulf drama.
And about the atmosphere of joint writing with Abdul Rahim Al-Siddiqi, Abdullah says, “We have gotten used to it for years, and you start by choosing the general idea and then defining the lines of work and the story, and then the details, dialogues and songs are written if required, and finally the work is filtered and reached its final form, and then sitting with a staff The work, the most important of which is the director and the producer, so that the work takes its necessary productive path. “
One of the most important secrets of this work (wood horses) is that the text was mainly written for its filming in Qatar and Thailand, but Corona’s difficult circumstances forced the team to transfer the scenes to Turkey, due to the facilities the team found in Istanbul, despite the severe ban that was in place and still there, As writer and journalist Tayseer Abdullah says.
The artist, Mulla Saeed, in turn
In an exclusive interview with Al-Jazeera Net, Qatari artist Salah Al-Mulla expressed his happiness to participate in the seventh, and he plays the role of Hayat’s father, stressing that the character he presented in the seventh is somewhat different from most of the characters he presented in his previous works.
He pointed out that the topic itself is beautiful, and it deals with the issue of the absence of family dialogue between family members, the father, mother, daughters and sons, because the interruption of dialogue is what led to the problem of (Hayat), as that person prompted that – her husband later – to exploit (Hayat) in the belief that he was Distant from her father and her family, he can take control of her emotionally and take advantage of her.
He added, “There must be continuous discussion and dialogue between members of the whole family, and not to let our family members be distracted by life only because they did not obey us or hear our words or did not take our opinion. Adhering to opinion leads to problems, and we all in the East have a problem of adhering to the opinion and this leads to problems that backfire on the person.” Himself, on all family members, and on the entire community. “

From several years, I and many fellow artists have demanded the return of drama to all forms presented in art, the episode – the triple, the quartet – especially after the Ramadan drama is associated with the days of Ramadan, meaning 30 days, they must make 30 episodes, until If the work was unbearable. “
The happiness of the artist Al Mulla is completed with the participation of a group of young actors who started their career a few years ago, but they refused their ability to embody different personalities, and all the work team did their best, and this work must have a place among the various Arab Ramadan works. Drama, for adopting this kind of purposeful drama.
For his part, Samer Jaber, director and artistic supervisor of the series “Secrets”, explains to Al-Jazeera Net, that it is a dramatic series that broke the monotony of the television show in Ramadan, which is limited to 30 episodes for each series, as 4 dramas were produced in 5 countries within one template and the link is the secrets of social relations And humanity, the secrets of homes.
