The Islamic preacher, Dr. Muhammad Ratib al-Nabulsi said that the relationship between the servant and his Lord is simple, and does not need intermediaries, and as soon as the servant supplicates to God, he hears it and responds, then his call with your tongue hears you, and if you invite him with your heart he knows what you say.
He added in his interview to the episode (5/9/2021) of the program “Sharia and Life in Ramadan” that most of the verses of the Qur’an, in which there is a question, are followed by the word “except supplication,” as in the Almighty saying (and if my servants ask you about me, then I will soon answer the supplication call if Called).
Al-Nabulsi added that the Qur’an reported many stories on the speed of the response of God Almighty to his servants, for example the story of the Prophet of God Yunus, who called while in the belly of the whale so God released him, and God is with you in every case and place as in the verse (and he is with you wherever you are), and here is the subtle It came with the meaning of knowledge and knowledge; But God has singled out his believing servants in a special way, and she is with victory, support and success for the Almighty saying (and my success is only with God).
He affirmed that nothing in the universe is complete without the grace of God, so being close to God is the end of religion, knowledge, and obedience. Therefore, God’s special means is the end of happiness, success, success and prosperity, and success is a special matter, the mother of the peasant, it is a holistic matter and a goal for man in life, and the peasant is the one who watches God in every action and deed.
Regarding the preference for the times and places of supplication, the Islamic preacher said that the last third of the night is about the time when God descends to answer the question of whoever calls him, as it was mentioned in the hadith: “Our Lord, Blessed and Exalted be He, descends to the lowest heaven every night when the last third of the night remains, and he says whoever calls me and I will answer him, Whoever asks me and I give him, whoever asks me for forgiveness, I forgive him, until dawn breaks. “
He added that the month of Ramadan and dawn prayers are all special times for supplication to be answered, as God promised. But supplication is available at all times, warning against isolation from creation under the pretext of devotion to worship, and the Muslim must know the matter and then the matter. Because whoever knows the command obeyed the command, and whoever knows the command without knowing the commandant may disobey him.
Regarding allocating the month of Ramadan to worship and to abstaining from sins and mistakes, Dr. Muhammad Ratib al-Nabulsi considered that whoever returns after Ramadan to sins and mistakes is as if he did not fast Ramadan. Because Ramadan aims to change people’s lives and behavior permanently, not temporarily.
