Developments in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip entered a new phase at dawn today, Tuesday, after the Israeli army announced the launch of a military operation on the Gaza Strip under the name “Guardian of the Walls.”

Before announcing the launch of the military operation, the Palestinian resistance had fired dozens of rockets at Israeli cities and towns after the expiration of a deadline set for Israel to withdraw its soldiers from Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem and the release of the detainees.
