The Sunnah of Revelation

The relationship of the Sunnah to the Quran

Sheikh Al-Bashir explained that the Sunnah’s relationship with the Quran presents itself in 3 ways: the first is that it confirms a decision made by the Quran, and the second is that it clarifies the Quran as is the case to explain acts of worship such as prayer, Hajj and the like, and the third is that it is independent with legislation not mentioned in the Book of God.
