Thousands of demonstrators gathered today, Tuesday, in front of the US embassy in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. To demand an end to the Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators carried Indonesian and Palestinian flags, and raised banners reading “Free Palestine”, while more than a thousand police deployed around the embassy headquarters to prevent riots.
On the other hand, a march organized by the Federation of Trade Unions began to the headquarters of the United Nations Mission in Jakarta, during which the participants chanted phrases such as “Save the Palestinians.” Union workers also organized similar protests in other Indonesian cities, including Surabaya, Bandung, Jogakarta, Makassar and Riau.

Iranian demonstrations
Today, the Iranian capital, Tehran, witnessed a gathering denouncing the Israeli attacks and crimes against the Palestinian people, and student groups participated in the demonstration that started from Palestine Street in Tehran.
The demonstrators raised slogans denouncing the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the Israeli attacks in Jerusalem and the rest of the Palestinian territories. The demonstrators also called on the international community and Islamic countries to stand up to the Israeli crimes and provide the necessary support to the Palestinians.

Lebanon
Yesterday, solidarity stands continued in Lebanon, in support of the Palestinian people in the face of the ongoing Israeli military aggression.
Activists gathered in the capital, Beirut, in front of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) building, under the heading of denouncing Israeli crimes in Palestine and in support of Jerusalem.
Representatives of Lebanese and Palestinian parties, organizations and personalities took part in the protest, and raised Palestinian flags and banners denouncing the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, and denouncing Arab and international silence.
In the city of Tripoli, north of Lebanon, female lawyers and lawyers carried out a solidarity stand in the attorney dress, expressing the absolute rejection of the crimes of the Israeli aggression against Palestine and the Palestinian people.
And in Sidon, south of Lebanon, the Association of Dentists organized a stop at Martyrs’ Square in the city, in solidarity with the people of occupied Palestine and support for Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif, and denouncing what the people are facing in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and in Gaza and the West Bank.

Tunisia and the criminalization of normalization
In Tunisia, the Palestinian Keffiyeh Association for Culture and Heritage in the city of Sfax organized yesterday a demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the continuous Israeli attacks, and there were calls for the criminalization of normalization.
In the center of Sfax, the demonstration started with the Tunisian and Palestinian national anthems, and the flags of the two countries were raised in front of the city’s municipality.
Hundreds of participants in the demonstration formed a human chain of Palestinian and Tunisian youth who drew with their bodies a map of Palestine, and gathered around a model of the occupied city of Jerusalem, with slogans and pictures of martyrs raised.
They also raised banners in support of the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, some of which read: “We will remain as long as thyme and olives remain,” “Be hope for Palestine,” and “I am a child and have my right to live in peace.”
They chanted slogans condemning the Israeli attacks, including “The people want the liberation of Palestine,” and “The people want to criminalize normalization.”

The Houthis in Yemen
Yesterday, the Houthi group in Sana’a organized a mass rally, in solidarity with the Palestinians, against the Israeli attacks.
The demonstrators raised the Palestinian and Yemeni flags, and the well-known Houthi group slogan “Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse on the Jews, Victory to Islam.”
During the march, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in the Houthi group, said, “We are present to move with our money to the side of the Palestinian people, and all donations will reach directly to the Palestinian factions.”
A number of members of the Palestinian community participated in this march, including representatives of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Several Yemeni governorates, which are under the control of the Houthis, witnessed similar demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinians and condemned the bombing of Gaza by Israel.

Marches in Morocco
Dozens of Moroccans demonstrated Sunday in the center of the capital, Rabat, in solidarity with the Palestinians against the “Israeli aggression”, raising slogans in support of them and condemning normalization with Israel.
The demonstrators in Rabat raised slogans saying “Palestine is a trust” and “We are all ransom for steadfast Palestine.”
“We came to denounce this barbarism practiced by the Zionist entity against defenseless civilians, these are grave violations of human rights, in collusion with the international system, unfortunately,” said Abu Al-Shetaa, an assistant member of the secretariat of the Moroccan Front for Supporting Palestine and Against Normalization.
