A group of young people in Yemen launched a humanitarian initiative called “Wajbah” under the slogan “From people to people,” where volunteers take food from the well-off in Sanaa and distribute it to the poor and needy.
Eighth Newsletter – Nashrkom (04/30/2021) I continued to interact with the initiative that was launched on Facebook, and it met with widespread acceptance and approval on communication platforms.
The organizers of the “Wajbah” initiative say it has achieved clear success, as the number of meals they distributed exceeded 600 meals per day.
On social media platforms, the Yemenis interacted, and activist Yunus Al-Wafi wrote, “Sometimes a simple project, a small cart and two of your friends, your jumper will earn you a lot of reward and win the love of many people .. A successful project. I hope that young people take the same ideas and directly implement what they expect and do not wait for organizations.” Or institutions or initiatives to support their projects. “
Blogger Mahmoud Al-Shehab commented, “We need Yemeni minds and people with this enthusiasm to help society and people and think … I liked the power of the story that families cook, buy from them and distribute to the poor … two birds with one stone.”
Activist Ilhan Aman said, “See how the one who studies and lives abroad returns his country with a great love for his country and a great desire to help the people of his country for free, no advertisements and movements … May God grant you success and our hope in you is great .. You are good for Yemen.
As for Raneem Badr, she wrote, “Do not compare Switzerland’s human being to the person in Yemen who is sitting from a queue to a queue, and who is in crisis because of a psychologically shattered crisis and does not have any means of entertainment in the world. A person in Switzerland has rights, a state, and entitlements that come to him .. How do you ask a person who is tired who perishes? He takes the initiative.” Or does a voluntary work, and his family, by God, get what conceals them. “
