Italian Football Federation president Gabriele Gravina said Juventus will be banned from competing in the Italian league next season, if it continues in the proposed separatist Super League.
“If Juventus does not respect the rules, he will be sent off,” Gravina was quoted by the Italian news agency ANSA.
The separatist Super League project in Europe collapsed just 48 hours after 12 prominent clubs announced their launch last April, as 9 clubs withdrew from it, leaving only Barcelona and Real Madrid, Juventus.
The three clubs face sanctions by the European Football Association (UEFA), which may reach exclusion from European competitions next season, if they do not back down from their plan to launch the Super League.
